Description

This Blancpain X Swatch watch was created to honor the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms, the first true diver’s watch. Its blue case and crown are made from Bioceramic material. The word “Swatch” is located on the left, outer side of the case. Several layers of color are printed on the metal dial to create a gradient effect.

The hour markers, hour and minute hands, and the scale on the bezel are coated with Super-LumiNova® Grade A, ensuring excellent visibility in the dark. The bezel, made of Bioceramic in a deep blue shade, rotates in only one direction, and the bio-material glass is coated to protect against scratches.

The mechanical SISTEM51 movement is visible through the transparent sapphire crystal case back, and its digital prints depict the Atlantic Ocean and the Glaucus Atlanticus sea slug.

On the back of the watch, five inspiring phrases can be found: PASSION FOR DIVING – LICENCE TO EXPLORE – OCEAN BREATH – PROTECT WHAT YOU LOVE – IMMERSE YOURSELF.

The NATO strap is made from recycled fishing nets retrieved from the sea, while the buckle and loops are made from Bioceramic material.
